I live in California so drink mostly CA beers, so that is my first and obvious pick. I don't do much trading so don't get to try many East Coast and Mid-West beers sadly. I know there is a lot of really amazing beers left untasted. That being said, what I mainly drink second would be Deschutes beer.

Lots of love for CA! I clearly still need to try a bunch of east coast beer. I see a ton of stuff on here showing love for a few select states, and can't wait to get out and try some! Come to think of it I just can't wait to try another beer, period :sunglasses:

Vermont and Calie. HT, Hill Farmstead, Stone, Russian River, Lagunitas. Think I could live on that line up the rest of my life no problem. Michigan would be my alternative, for Fouders alone.

About those hops... Nelson Sauvin, of course, but also Pacific Gem, Riwaka, Dr. Rudi, Green Bullet, Waimea, Pacifica, Southern Cross, Motueka. They don't export them all!

8 Wired and Epic, as mentioned, but also Tuatara makes some great IPAs.

Oh, and so as not to thread hijack: Cali and Penn for me.

California and Vermont assuming that for these purposes I can actually have Vermont beers without driving there. Michigan is a close third, but their distro isn't much better where I'm standing.

First pick is Colorado. I've traded for all those big name beers from the majority of the big breweries out there and honestly, if there is something that is getting hyped out the ass I have always been able to find something as good or better right here in my own backyard. You say kbs or parabola, I say uncle jacobs or ac golden ctayt. You say pliny and I'll say myrcenary. You say two hearted or stone ipa and I'll say odell ipa or modus hoperandi. You say allagash or ommegang and I'll say funkwerks. I'm glad so many great colorado beers fly under the ba radar, but there are two beers I've had from out of state that I can't find something as good herre. So, because of juicy and heady my number two is vt.

California and Michigan are the easy choices. Illinois is in the team photo with GI, Pipeworks, Revolution andHalf Acre though. I've never had anything other than Heady from Vermont so I can't consider it.

Probably Mich and Cali, but in the running: Vermont, Colorado, Illinois, Oregon and Ohio! Although I love some of the breweries in these states ie: Six Point, ST, Troegs, CCB, but I can't include PA, NY or FLA!

Badgers and Wolverines for me. Wisconsin's has amazing variety in its craft breweries and it is home to the Malt House, a humble no nonsense pub that celebrates the wide world of beer. If ever in Madison you should visit. You won't be disappointed. Being home to Bells, Michigan has to be on the list.
