have to be Michigan and Illinois. I must also remind my in state friends that it is not all about the goose, we also have pipeworks and revolution which r quite tasty and since lagunitas opened a brewery in chi-town I will lay claim to them as well seeing as the founder is a local boy.

Washington and Oregon of course. No way I'm giving up visiting my local breweries. It also doesn't hurt that both States produce some excellent beer.

California is a given, and I'm going to be a homer and say Minnesota.

Two weeks ago I probably would have said Michigan, but after my trip to Michigan last week I wasn't exactly impressed with the quality for how many breweries they have. Nothing really wrote home for me outside of their notable breweries like Founders or Bells.

Haha if I could get all the Oregon beers I wanted I wouldn't need a second choice:slight_smile:

Pennsylvania is an easy choice. I need my Nugget Nectar.
Picking a second is harder because I have to decide what beers will be gone for me.
I am going to have to pick California and say good bye to Heady, Jai Alai, Zombie Dust....

    CA and VT for sure.

I would chose a midwest state, but CA has equally epic BA Stouts (with BA Speedway/kopiS, parabola, and the bruery there aint much more I need in that department) so that eliminates the need.

Thank you. I was hoping to get some good ideas for new breweries to try with this thread! Without scrolling back, my comment to 1 beer carrying a state was in reference to someone almost voting IL solely because of BCBS.
