Just scored what I feel is an outstanding Craig's List deal!!!

Kit is a Northern Brewers Deluxe Start Kit with Gravity Testing Kit plus additional items.

    The kit includes:
    1 x 6.5 Gallon Glass Carboys (Primary)
    1 x 5 Gallon Glass Carboys (Secondary)
    1 x 6.5 Gallon Bottling Bucket
    2 x Fermometer
    2 x Bottle Bung
    2 x Airlock
    1 x Blowoff Assembly
    1 x Bottling Spigot
    1 X Bottle Filler
    1 x Bottling Tubing
    1 x Bottle Capper
    30 x Bottle Caps
    1 x PBW Cleaner
    1 x Star-San Sanitizer
    1 x Carboy Brush

    In addition:
    1 x Hydrometer
    1 x 3-piece Thief
    1 x Testing Jar
1 x Stir Plate (For yeast starters)
    1 x Stir Bar
1 x Yeast Starter Flask (Erlenmeyer Flask)
    1 x Foam Stopper
    1 x Polarware 10.5 Gallon Brewing Kettle
    2 x Stirring Paddles
    1 x Muslin Mesh Grain/Hop Bag

Plus once I got to the guys house, I asked if he used the stove or a propane turkey fryer heater; well he included the propane heater, which is a solid model. Then he added two full Northern Brewing extract kits, a Witbier and a Oktoberfest. All for $200, WOW, just WOW!!!

Very nice! You need a racking cane but other than that you are on your way.

I thought it might be a jar that asks you questions. But my real guess is that it's a false sense of security non-protective hydrometer container.

I wonder what horrible thing happened to this guy that he offloaded every scrap of material needed to brew, at a very very discounted rate.
When you get one brewed that you think is pretty exceptional, you should take him a 6-pack.

Guy said he just didn't have time, got a couple kids and his work sounded like it's been crazy.

As for the 6-pack idea, was thinking the same thing!
