Pickleball and Beer

    I've been around here a while, and I enjoy reading these intros on occasion. I figure it's time to write one.

    I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2005. I then moved to northern Virginia (Washington, DC) and finally to Little Rock, Arkansas in 2016. I never thought I'd call Arkansas home, but here I am.

    I'm married with two kids and love spending time with the family. My wife and I play pickleball together all the time. (We moved a couple years ago to a home with a court in the backyard.) My kids play also, and we have fun as a family.

    I've cycled through beer, wine, and liquor as my drug of choice throughout my life, but beer has always been my favorite. I found and joined BA when I lived in DC and haven't looked back. I love WBAYDN, and I spend way too much time looking at other peoples' beer pics.

    Ya know, with all the recent conversion about pickle beer, maybe that should be the beverage of choice while you’re out on the court. And how about those dogs?

    Ah, yes. I did forget to mention the pups. And one was sitting on my lap while I wrote that. They deserve an introduction too. Lily and Wilbur are rescued street mutts. Wilbur (the terrier mix) went through the Paws in Prison program. Lily came right off the street, but she was spayed already, so someone owned her at one point. Both great dogs.

    Ever considered pickle beer to go along with your pickleball fun? Seems to me that it should be a natural match and double your fun. :wink:

    Nice write-up. Come back to Michigan for a visit when you can.
