Heading up for the Second Fiddle release Saturday and always stop at Foley Brothers. Anyone know whats available right now?
Did you end up stopping by Foley Brothers? I'm headed up that way next week and was thinking about picking some up. How is it? Worth going a little out of my way for? Thanks!
It's worth every minute/mile. I've only had their Fair Maiden and Pieces of Eight. Both are phenomenal but Po8 is right up there with some of the best doubles made on the planet, IMHO. Unfortunately is only brewed every 6 weeks or so.
Thanks. I'm going to be coming up Rt 7 at that point, so the brewery won't be that far out of the way for me. I'll probably just give them a call next week to see if they still have some Po8 bottles in stock. Are they serving food? From what I can tell from their FB page, it looked like they were only on Friday's and Saturday's.
We actually get Fair Maiden and Pieces of 8 in Southern Vt (7-11 even has it). Like both, but not much else by Foley Brothers. A tad expensive though at $10 a bottle.
