I recently switched jobs and am now down on Wall St and have yet to find a decent bottle shop, so I'd be interested to see what the responses are like. There's a grocery store on Nassau that has overpriced BCBS, Bourbon County Barleywine, Mexican Cake, and Barrel Aged EvilTwin stuff if you want to overpay. Pretty sure this area is a beer wasteland.

If you're looking for NYC beers that you can't get in NJ your best bet might be the Beer Table in the WTC Oculus. It's pricey, though. Not too far away is the WF Tribeca, but it seems to be more miss than hit compared to the other city WFs.

The ones I listed are a bit of a hike, but will give you a better shot beerwise. Definitely walkable, though.

Eataly, also in the WTC/Oculus has a good selection of Grimm bottles right now. They also have a small selection of Italian beers and feature Avery and Dogfish Head. Probably just as far afield as the Whole Foods is a Key Food on Nassau street with decent selection.

I work near Wall Street and agree that the take-home beer selection around here is lacking. Grimm at Eataly is definitely your best bet unless you want to throw your money away at Beer Table.

Beer is stocked in two locations at WTC Eataly. One wall in the back has some bottles at room temperature. There are also coolers right before the registers. I checked a week ago and they had 5 different Grimm bottles.

My normal go to is Whole Foods Tribeca but they get their beer deliveries (Grimm) on Fridays. They usually have some cool stuff, though.
