Pilsner glasses for IPAs?

I like to drink 12oz IPAs out of 1/2L pilsner glasses. Plenty of room for head and a nice little chamber for aroma trapping.

 

That glass has spilled beer badass written all over it.

 

Pilsner glasses are a bit unwieldy for me. I go goblet for all. If they aren't worthy of a goblet, I drink 'em out of whatever alcohol-delivery device they come in.

 

As long as the glass doesn't reject the beer like a bad kidney transplant, you're good. Personally, at home, I drink 90% of my beer from shaker pints and match them with the beer or the brewery's name on them if I have one, mainly to cut down on possible rejections.

 

Has anyone given the "Who gives a flying f-word, just drink your beer" answer yet?

Because I'm in that camp

 

Nothing like bonging some Imperial stouts. Why sip and savor a beer like that

if you have both, why not pour half a bottle in each & decide FOR YOURSELF if it matters enough to discuss.
