Pilsner Urquell is still imported by Molson Coors (despite the brewery now being owned by Asahi) and, as such, it is typically distributed by the local MC house, though not all seem to stock the cans.

Just ask your favorite retailer (or, if not a "favorite", the one where you have an OK relationship with their "beer guy") to order it for you. Not every store will do it, some will ask you to commit to buying the entire case (around $40) not the worst thing that could happen. Cheaper and easier than driving all over - I'd rather buy beer than gasoline.

Thank you I know exactly who is the coors distributer in maryland. My only worry is they will make me commit to case that is out of date.

I ended up buying a case from craft beer cellar in dc. Best Buy July 23 2022 so I’d say pretty fresh. Thank you for the input.

"Best Buy"? Wow, I know DC is the "wild west" when it comes to beer wholesaling, but they sell it at electronic stores, too. Yeah, I can't remember exactly what the dates were on the last few 4 packs I bought last month, I think they were "Best before" August. From what I've found if a retailer has constant PU customers the beer can be quite fresh, especially compared to many other Euro-imports.

Funny thing is, Molson Coors' import division is in DC (also noted on the can itself) dating back to the SABMiller days IIRC - though I imagine that's just a corporate offices, pushing legal paperwork and arranging logistics. But you'd think they'd still like to grab a fresh Pilsner Uquell after work.
