I've seen plenty of top 5 threads but couldn't find one for the good old pilsner so I'm starting one.

Any style of pilsner, but no imperials and please stick to 5

    My top 5:

    SN Nooner
    Sixpoint The Crisp
    Pilsner Urquell
    Fat Head's Jack Straw
    Victory Prima Pils

I love Trauger Pils, but the last few I've had tasted old. Damn breweries that don't date their cans!

Any list that doesn't have Weihenstephaner on it (that is if imported is excluded) is null and void as far as I'm concerned. Wurzburger Hofbrau Pils is awesome too.

As far as American made: Stoudt's, Troegs Sunshine, Victory Prima Pils (PA does their German brethren proud, IMO) and the 2 Sierra Nevadas (Summertime and Nooner),

I haven't seen that Weihenstephaner in a few years, but the recent addition of the Rothaus Tannenzapfel makes up for it

Let's see, now, which other three to pick...?
    - Troegs Sunshine Pils, definitely.
    - Firestone Walker Pivo Pils, because they did their own thing with it, but it's still a Pils to me.
    - Last spot between old fave Sly Fox Pikeland Pils and newcomer Neshaminy Creek Trauger Pils- I just might have to flip a coin for that one...

    Honorable Mention- Straub Pilsner
I just may have to do another blind tasting to see where some of these truly fall.

Ones I'm still wanting to try are Trumer Pils and one of those Victory Braumeisters, and something tells me that those would make whittling this list down even tougher.

The Crisp is currently my top choice simply for availability and clearly printed freshness on the boxes.
Von Trapp Pilsner is a close second.
Victory Prima Pils. I truly have never been able to find a Pilsner Urquell that isn't 3-4 months old at the store collecting dust and the cans are not available through the distributor here soooo....no fifth
