I'm craving a little refreshment in this East Coast heat. Crisp and golden with some spicy hops, I think a good pilsner would do the trick. I've thoroughly enjoyed Victory Pils and Stoudts Pils within the past month - if any of you guys out there appreciate the style, what are your favorites?

Victory and Stoudt's are good as is Notch Session Pils, I hear Sly Fox makes a nice one as well.

Noble Pils by Sam Adams is awesome. I'd say my second option would be Prima Pils.

My favorite of late is Stiegl Pils. Also (of ones readily available here) Koenig, Jever, and Trumer. Overlooking fresh Pilsner Urquell is a mistake, too, IMO.

Yes, Sly Fox's Pikeland Pils is a good offering as well. If you're from SEPA, try to visit Victory and try the Braumeister Pils on draft. It's even better than Prima Pils, better malt profile. Also, Philly Brewing Co's Kenzinger Pils is quite enjoyable. Probably has higher IBU's than any of the previous offerings we've mentioned.

If you want to stay local/domestic, give Troegs sunshine pils and slyfox a try as well. Also, as mentioned above, the braumeister pils from Victory are fantastic. Personally, I'm also a big fan of Wurzburger pils and the pinkus organic ur pils (both should be readily available wherever you live). Trumer pils from Berkeley is also quite good, but is a bit more difficult to find. Increasingly, there are some exceptional pils from Oregon as well (heater allen pils and upright engelsberg pils), not to mention reality czech from moonlight brewing. Unfortunately, you're unlikey to find any of those out here on the East Coast.

Good suggestions all around. I'd add Six Point Crisp if you've got it around. Tall boy cans are an added benefit of this brew too. It is indeed pils season in the NE this weekend.

I picked up Sixpoint's The Crisp last night, which I really liked; it's definitely my favorite Sixpoint beer. I recently had SN's Summerfest which was pretty good. Urquell is also a favorite of mine, but if you pick some up, get the cans.

You named 2 of my top 4. The other two are Troeg's Sunshine Pils (which is a seasonal and hasn't been released yet) and Sly Fox Pikeland Pils. There are usually some bottles of at least one of those 4 years in my fridge come winter or summer or any season in between. However, that said, I'm also greatly enjoying the Karnival Kolsch from Stoudts. It isn't a Pils style but it is clean, crisp and refereshing and I think really good within the frist 6-8 weeks after bottling.

Go German. Rothaus Pils and Tannen Zapfle are superb as is the underrated Radenberger.
They're the only things today which rival what was once the greatness of pre 1993 Pilsner Urquell.

While there's definitely some truth to this, at least here in the US, getting fresh German beer can be quite difficult.

You're right. Should have mentioned something about this reality in my post.

I'll throw out a non-Pilsner (technically, anyway) option:

Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold. Still has that bready taste w/some spiciness. Good carbonation/mouthfeel.

How available are these beers in the US? I'm a huge fan of German pils, and buy them whenever I can, but I've never seen or heard of these two beers.
