I have had a weird obsession with pineapple as far back as I can remember. Mom used to always make me a pineapple upside down cake for my birthday. I have received no less then 10 fresh pineapples as gifts from past girlfriends. I spent like 50 bucks on different pineapple ornaments for the christmas tree this past year. At any given time I have no less then 4 different pineapple salsas in my fridge. Any product I see with pineapple in it I must buy regardless of price. I even brewed a pineapple cider that did not come out well. So you can see its a little over the top.

Anyway. My favorite beer style is fruit beer. And I have searched High and low for beer brewed with pineapple with no luck. Besides Maui's Mana Wheat (which I did like) But im looking for more. And more of a pineapple flavor. Now I know that some (D)IPA's can have a light pineapple flavor. So if you know any with a big pronounced pineapple flavor please let me know.

Any and all suggestions would be amazing on any pineapple beers or (D)IPA's with big pineapple taste.

I always thought that 21st Amendments Brew free or Die IPA was heavy on the pineapple flavors.

I like cottage cheese but I wouldn't want my beer to taste like it...

Get yourself a time machine and plot a course for the Belhaven brewery in Dunbar circa 1988. The yeast they used then gave Belhaven 80 the most intoxicating yet subtly fragrant pineapple quality I can think of.

Kona Brewing's summer seasonal reminds me the most of pure pineapple taste. Look for Wailua Wheat in a store near you in April or so...

Damn your right. I guess ill throw out my Double cottage cheese hefe home brew I have fermenting as I type.

But with all the amazing fruit beers out there I figured there would be some with pineapple incorperated into them. Dont think thats to far fetched

The only thing I can think of was Carolina Brewery did one for their 112th or 13th Anniversary Ale. Not helpful, but still.

I mean this in the nicest way but if you want a sweet pineapple beer, you have to make it yourself.

Mikkeller's Invasion IPA hit me over the head with pineapple.

I personally think that Maui Big Swell IPA has a pineapple note to it.

Ballast Point Big Eye IPA has that kind of profile and so does Avery Maharaja though I think the former has more of the pineapple taste.
