Another Session IPA, I guess? Thoughts, if you've had it?

I had it on tap the other day. It's ok, I guess. Not as good as Rudie or Go-To.

Speaking of session ales, Mockery in Denver has a Red Rye Session Ale that is pretty tasty.

Any oniony notes to be wary of? I can't handle any versions of the Gubna or Deviant, but I love Dale's and Gordon.

The final version in cans is pretty different than the test batches. Give it another shot!

as far as onion notes, I personally don't get any, but I'm not as sensitive as many to that flavor. Also, gubna changes the entire hop profile every year. And the malt profile even.

Picked up a 6 pack. It was ok.. don't think I got onions but there was a flavor that was a little off putting to me. I can't wait for easy jack to go year round in cans. Pretty sure early this year is the release for that. As far as sessions we can get

    1. Easy Jack
    2. Goto
    3. Rudie

Did the recipe for Daytime change ? I tried it last year and hated it. Also had an off putting taste. But I see the reviews are pretty good..

I think that the people rating it are being very kind honestly. I found it to be sub-par and a disappointment for an Oskar Blues beer.

It just doesn't compare to the other session IPAs out there, and seems to have been released at an odd time for the style.

I agree with all that is said and am even a little more down on it. It was muddled with a weird malt character and overly watery even for a session IPA. Rudie, Day Time and even Pivo would be better options. Don't think I will go back

Session IPA trend needs to die.
