Regardless of the reason, since they managed to shift to smaller servings for a full price, I have trouble seeing them returning to larger servings.

I just wish all bars would print the size of the serving on their menu. The other day I ordered something to drink with lunch not realizing it was high enough ABV that I was going to get a small snifter of it. (It was a farmhouse ale I was unfamiliar with.) It tasted fine, but I would have ordered something else had I realized. I really wanted something I could drink throughout the meal without having to monitor the size of each sip in order to stretch it out.

Snifter for all my imperial stouts. Really, I try to match glassware to the style, and since I mostly drink stouts it isn't that much of a challenge. But, when I can't make that happen, my SABL or Sam Smith's pint glasses serve as "jack(s) of all trades." But always (ALWAYS) snifters for imperial stouts.

I did this recently with a bomber of Sucks. Most of the difference was in carbonation, lacing, and head retention. The craft pint produced more carbonation and had more head retention, but no lacing. The tulip glass had little carbonation, little head retention, but beautiful lacing. Aroma was stronger in the pint (it seemed) but tasted great either way.

No snifter/tulip for me. My beer is made the hard way!
