Pint House Pizza, ATX

    Just got done eating at PHP awesome pizza and amazing beer. The burro and Irish stout are the hit had a cool conversation with Jacob the brewer at PHP. I would recommend the food and beer to anyone!

    Best brewpub in town right now, IMHO. Joe, the brewmaster, makes some good shit. He's an Odell alum.

    Gotta a lot of great spots these days but definitely one of the best beer/food combos in town.

    '12 Parabola, '13 Parabola and '13 Sucaba was epic!

    My favorite place in Austin right now. I don't think there's a brewpub in town making better beer, and the pizza's great to boot.

    For some reason, that place is overrun with kids/young families. That is what makes it so damn loud.

    I really like the place, but I hate the young kids running around screaming (and it has happened most times that I am there).

    Yeah that place is busy from about 4pm onward on weekdays. The seating is a little awkward at busy times but that's really my only complaint. They got popular pretty quick and maybe didn't anticipate such a large crowd so soon.

    I am guessing it is because it is more of a family friendly brewpub that kids like and is a reasonable price - you get a lot of families going.

    They actually put acoustic treatments on the ceiling to reduce noise, and it worked pretty well
