Pint House Pizza, ATX

When I go to drink a beer and eat some pizza the last damn thing I want is a kid bumping inn to me, or running out in front of me while I am trying to navigate the crowds. Great beer, very good pizza, shitty atmosphere. Cannot wait for draught house to get their brewery back up and going full on!

I know where I'm stopping by tomorrow evening.

 

I trekked down to ATX at the end of June and stopped in for dinner on Friday night. Holy shit it was packed. I had to flash a ball to a cougar to get a seat to eat.

 

Wow this stuff is awesome. It's a little light bodied but the flavor is real nice. You can't best a $5 pint either.

 

I live next to this place and it's amazing, they are really doing good things with their beer, and keeping tons of other great ones on tap (including some sours which :drool: ). I also really like their pizza, quality ingredients, and real tasty to boot.

 

They also had Loose Seal tonight which was a 70/30 blend of what was in the firkin and Nitro bearded seal, respectively. Which in my opinion made for a better beer. It was much more creamier and reminded me of a cold latte, goddamn it was good.

Also their newest Fallen Cask is a Double IPA which emerged on 7-8, only 8 days ago! And holy shit is it amazing. I'll be grabbing more tomorrow.

 

Anybody going to check out the Chocolate Almond Stout tonight? This has my wife actually insisting on going out for beer tonight.

 

I might have to stop by and check that out.

 

I wish this place had existed when I went to UT. I probably wouldve lived there. The owners need to bring one up to DFW.

Pizza was quite yummy, in my top 5. I had their flight to try all of their beers and definitely enjoyed all of them. Will definitely hit it up again next time I stop by ATX.
