Up to now, every time I've tried to hit Pints I've either been too early or on a Sunday, so I'm showing up there tonight between 5 and 6. Any Spokane BAs want to meet up?

oh nice they just tapped their cuvee brut and also have rhizing bines on tap as well. If you wait till next friday its their anniversary party and they are tapping a keg of 120!

Haven't had either yet, so I think I'll be trying them. I have had 120, and while I was glad to try it, it's not something I'd seek out again, especially for the price it generally commands

I just went last night. I was supposed to meet leedorham there a week ago and I had to flake.

I believe they're putting Parabola and Serpents Stout on the anniversary day too.

So while I was there yesterday, I was thinking of maybe trying to organize a tasting at Pints. Maybe we could each bring just one non local bottle, and then patronize Pints after. I'd have to ask Derek, but it might be cool.

$5 corkage fee and he's cool with it.

Sounds more and more like next week is when to go.

The tasting idea sounds cool. I'd definitely be interested in doing that.

    Per bottle
That's pretty normal. Legally he has to open them for how customers.

In the wine world, when you decide to bring a special bottle from home to a restaurant that has a wine selection, corkage is the fee the restaurant charges for opening a bottle they don't sell. It was a natural progression for good beer places to do the same. Fortunately, they don't generally do it at wine prices, or else Pints might be charging $10-20!

Same here. It will probably be hopping and loud so we'll just get a glass or two of Parabola and split.

Just popped in. There's a wine tasting going down. I will not be drinking wine.

I'm bringing some of my stout soaked brownies there tomorrow. Find waldo ( me!) And I just might give you one.
