Wow. Very cool. Getting citra ninja Distro'd to Dever would be badass

Awesome news! This almost sounds too good to be true as their distribution is essentially just Chicago. Hopefully this isn't just one of those short time distribution runs for GABF.

But if this happens, I don't know what else I can drink to feel superior while taking down all the Ninja vs. Unicorns that my sister sends me :slight_frown:

In other words, make this happen Pipeworks! I love their stuff.

I think pipeworks will do really well here. Not sure New Holland will stick around but PWs has a great chance.

On my trip back from Chicago I brought back a bunch of Pipeworks! This is excellent news for me, but bad news for my beer trading friends in Chicago that rely on Pipeworks as trade bait....

Works for me. I've always liked the beers I've had from them. I definitely see them succeeding in the short term. I'm still a skeptic about anyone long-term, though. Seen too many come and go.

From the Pipeworks thread in the Great Lakes forum:

"Not exactly. Tivoli are friends of ours and I'm actually from Denver and some of them are from Chicago. Since they own a distributorship (and contract brew as well as building out their own soon-to-be brewery) we thought it would be neat to send a limited amount of beer in kegs out to some GABF events. To fill the pallet up we're sending some NVU bottles as well. We thought we'd start this relationship now in anticipation of hopefully sending them 16oz cans in 2015 if we can. Chicago, and Illinois always will come first but Tivoli will be ready for us when we can actually export beer to CO."

Pipeworks is amazing. As a Chicago transplant, it would make me very happy to drink some of their beer while out here.

Hey La Cumbre is supposedly available on the Western Slope. Don't know if that means Junction or Frisco or Durango (probably Durango), but that came right from the brewery owner's mouth (more like BA account). Now I just need to find it.

None that I've heard directly, but I know they were waiting on their canning process to get dialed in and according to their Facebook page, that's exactly what has been happening the past month or so. Hopefully soon...

It was probably a limited distribution during GABF.

It was initially, but they also said they'd be coming back this year with 16oz cans in regular distro (will try to find the original announcement later).

Don't worry though, we'll all still drink PLENTY of Superpower even once they make it in.
