It is still the canned on date, correct?

I just came back with two four packs of Ninja Vs Unicorn with a date of 10/7/20, and it tastes heavily oxidized and nothing like I remember. It's missing the freshness and fruity notes. It's pine and cardboard. Third can in. Haven't broke into the 2nd 4pk but it has the same date. This was purchased in STL, MO.

Canning issue? Recipe change? Actually a "best by" date?

I noticed some newer pipeworks cans had no dates at all on the bottom.

Btw, the "9/28/20" Lizard King is tasting magnificent.

    Thanks in advance for information!

I believe you. I had a bad 4-pack once as did a friend. It was borderline awful. For the amount of times I have purchased this beer, I gave them a pass. I'm sure it happens to every small brewer at one point.
