Has anyone had any luck in removing pipeworks bottle labels intact. What are your methods? I've tried soaking in hot water with oxiclean an dish soap. I've tried boiling water. Somehow they always rip. I think they have some of the best labels I've seen. I started a scrapbook of beers from all 50 states and can't get these off.
I've tried a few times with hot water and oxyclean with no luck which sucks because I buy so many of their beers and wanted to use all the bombers for bottling homebrew. I wonder if you emailed them if they could maybe mail you an unstuck label?
I've tried removing labels, but I couldn't get them to work. I soaked a DuClaw bottle in hot water in a sealed thermos for a while, but when I pulled it out, it just started to peel off and sheets, but was still quite sticky.
They are stick on not glue on. They will not peel off wet. Dry and room temp or a bit warmer works. Use a razor blade if you hit a snag spot.
I've had success with removing Pipeworks labels. I fill the bottle with VERY hot water and let it sit for a few minutes while it warms the glue from the inside. Then use a sharp razor blade and slowly peel one side off and pull straight horizontally. Works for me I tried the soaking method and it just ruined the label. Give this a try, good luck OP
Microwave them for 45 seconds and you're done (as long as the label is not metallic). Remove them with an ovglove and they should peel right off. This is my go-to method for removing these types of labels. Hopefully it will help!
The microwave trick worked. 30 seconds then start the peel, do another 30 seconds and comes right off. Thanks mississipping
