    I echo this sentiment. Heavy on the Apple brandy which is always welcome. Get it while it’s here- they don’t think it’s lasting the night.

    I much preferred Speed of Sound to Velocity of Light. I think I’m in the minority.

    I agree. But I also really love mosaic hops.

    Edit* if anyone is looking. Trader Joe's in Orland has a ton of Speed of Sound.

    I acquired a bottle of the BA The Murderous a couple months ago. Tonight I found out there were some infection issues as I was looking at it on Untappd. I realize this is old news for most of you but I had no idea. I'm pretty bummed out as I traded for it and I was looking forward to it. I am curious, is it all 2018 bottles? Or only certain batches? Mine is the Elijah Craig batch. Thanks.

    looks like a second drop of speed of sound has made its way out. my trader joes (@Nbrock24) had ~3 cases on the shelf.

    I had my first Speed of Sound last night and I found it was pretty good but one dimensional. I am not saying it's not as good as Velocity of Light but the galaxy hops in VOL gives it a nice pleasant bitterness that is missing in SOS.

    I'm guessing that I'm in a super-minority because, as much as I enjoyed those two beers (quite a lot), I thought Thank You for Being a Friend was better than both. That's the one I regret not buying more of. Starting to think I might be getting burnt out on the hazy style.

    It's been a long term trend in the restaurant business for January to be a rough month (hence Restaurant Week and changes in winter hours). It's only natural for breweries to deal with similar issues coming off expensive holidays/ dry January/etc. I don't want to overstate it and I don't root for slow times for brewers, but it's just a logical time for a reset for many consumers
