What? People only told you that you're not seeing the BA beers because they're working on their barrel program. You even said it may be irrational anger, and people pointed out that yes, it is irrational anger. Don't see the issue here. Not sure how anyone displayed hurt feelings, or how anything that was said is "fanboy".

They release a new beer like every week. Of all the breweries in the city they might have the most diverse set of offerings. Furthermore, historically they were about producing one off beers that were unique in nature.

Small Batches, Big Beers. They haven't used that tagline in a while, but I do feel they have gotten back to that more since their production has increased, while still regularly producing their "flagships."

I don't think it's funny at all. They aren't the same brewery any more. When you're tiny, having a different sku every week makes sense. It doesn't seem to as much after a certain point. Hop Butcher is getting to that point for me; Pipeworks passed it a long time ago.

Not to speak for @ISpendTooMuchOnBeer , but he may have really meant more of "tons of adjunct stouts" and less about "they haven't done anything barrel aged". I kind of agree with the former; there are lots of breweries who do sweet adjunct stouts; for me personally I'd rather buy some other stuff from Pipeworks. I've liked most of their lagers and was excited to pick up the bock they just did for the second time since I didn't get it the first go-round. Their foolish wit was really good this summer.

Agreed on this point. And they have been very proactive about identifying issues and offering refunds.

I love Pipeworks but I feel like they got on a roll with the haze and have lost a bit of that momentum over the last several months. Not like they’ve fallen off a cliff or anything but they were really doing some killer stuff in early 2019

I personally wish they would just release Galaxy Unicorn instead of any of their hazies! :stuck_out_tongue:

I'd be happy if PW got all the area's galaxy supply for those two beers.. Would like to see them revisit Galaxy Nelson at some point too.

I hope to revisit this weekend. I thought the first batch in cans was pretty darn good. I never know with this recipe, it always seems like they are tweaking it every go around.

I believe they posted posted somewhere that this batch is the OG recipe. I can’t find it now though...

Pipeworks citra is incredible. Better than unsessionable and I am in love with that. If this is truly all citra I’ll be shocked. I get none of the bad parts of citra like onion/chive/dank and all of the dense fleshy stone fruit.
