Pisgah Brewery (NC) Bottles?

    Does anyone know if you can actually purchase bombers at the Pisgah Brewery or is it just taps and growlers etc? I will be in Asheville next week, was thinking about heading out there, and am wondering if I should plan on being able to buy bottles there or just try to find some in Asheville(?)

    I haven't been there for a few months, but up to then, no.
    Can get 32 and 64 oz growlers/fills.

    I was in Asheville up at App. Vintner and they had some bottles of theirs. Hellbender (barleywine) and another beer of theirs. Wasn't able to make it to their brewery though so I can't really answer that question.

    I've never seen bottles for sale at the brewery. I would plan to buy them elsewhere (App. Vinter, Bruisin' Ales), and even then the bottled selection is usually pretty thin.

    App Vintner has several cases of Vortex II and a few Cosmos 750mls. I do think you can get bottles at the brewery though, maybe not all the time. What days are you in AVL? They are about to release barrel aged versions of the above beers during beer week!
