Yea....that place. I went there once and ordered a couple overpriced out of market beers (if you want to call them that, more like 1/2 beers) and had some mediocre food. Towards the end of our meal the waiter asked me "did you enjoy those beers you ordered? I really don't know what they all taste like. I'm still getting used to them but right now most of them just taste the same to me"

Is their pizza any good? I got a chicken salad last time. Wouldn't exactly call it good. Also got the boneless wings which were chicken nuggets with some salt on them.

    Chuckle Hut opening early 2015?

Wyckyd Sceptre's Chuckle Hut. I'd be a proud patron.

I think the pizza there is actually pretty good. But I've been let down by basically everything else I've had, so I've stopped venturing outside of 'za.

Their pizza is alright, but it's the textbook definition of generic. It tastes like any other average pizza you could find on any block in any area of Pittsburgh.

I wish Blue Dust in Homestead got some of the non-Pittsburgh beers that Caliente gets. The food is exponentially better, it has that same dark interior but it's not as dirty or dingy, and the prices aren't laughably high.

I've been going to the Allegheny Wine Mixer a lot more recently. They only have 6 drafts, but they are usually solid. And I can get my cheese and meat fix there too. Cool vibe, mellow crowd, and they give me a discount. I went there for a Full Pint thing the other night in fact.

Generic, yes. But better at least it's food to go with the beer. I also wish I didn't live like 30+ minutes from Blue Dust cause I love that place.

And Caliente needs to get their mens bathroom in order. I feel like I'm going to get stabbed every time. They should at least install a **** button like the Primanti's in the strip.

Don't forget the Old German cans. I remember going here when I first got out of college and didn't know anything about craft beer and didn't have a lot of money. This was the cheapest thing on the menu. I felt so shameful swigging this crap out of a can while I was surrounded by young couples enjoying wine together.

True. Definitely not a place to go here for a nice dinner and drinks, but it's a-ok if you're getting the munchies when you're throwing back beers with your friends.

I looked up & down the PCBW calendar, & am not seeing the 'Dogpile on Caliente' event. Must just be one of those 'word of mouth' things, huh? Sucks there's no beer at this one.

Dude, you open a craft beer comedy club and I'll be there every night!! That sounds awesome. Much better then paying $8 for a domestic bottle at the Improv.

That Chuckle Hut logo is about as lame as The Sharp Edge's.

Today event has been expanded to "Dogpile on every overpriced bar in the city". We'll have First World Problem's latest batch of "It's Not as Good as It Was Last Year"

Why don't we just stretch it over ten days & call it "Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week"?

The snake swallows its tail. Oh dear, we have fun...

Well, it isn't like they could go and review the place and share all of their opinions and ratings on an open forum for all people to see and utilize.

Why not call it 'Luigi's' & serve tacos?

That's the sister branch of the Chuckle Hut, they are opening summer 2015. All beers are 22oz-ers and the tacos are served with a side of deep fried love.
