Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week 2015 - Events

Cool, I'll probably see ya there then. And CBS is a beer that's definitely worth chasing.

 

I'll be there as well after work.

 

Lots of good barrel aged stuff at houghs. Ba old chub, ba blackout, and ba yeti are my favorites so far. Probably heading to library afterwards as well. Cbs is definite top 5 beer for me.

 

Library was fun tonight, but much preferred Piper's. Bookended the CBS with a visit to Piper's and liked the lower key vibe and reasonable prices. Shoutouts to @RblWthACoz , @jeevo , @BeerRay and all the others I hung out with that made it an awesome night!

 

Anyone know if CBS will be at BZs or Harris for their founders tap takeovers on Friday night?

 

Kbs, cbs, big lushious, sweet repute were all still at the library circa 45min ago.

 

If you happen to be at the House this evening you'll be able to get proper pours of a couple beers from me personally.

 

Looks like HO1KB will have Voodoo - Moar Tropic on tap tonight for their voodoo Event. And Whole Foods will have it on Sunday. If you haven't tried it, IMO, better than FFF Gumballhead.

 

I'm hoping for some CBS at Harris' s tonight. Doubt it but wishful thinking. Maybe I will try the Library first afterwork for the rare chance theyhave any left by then.

 

I'll also be at HO1KB tomorrow morning for beer and doughnuts.

 

CBS kicked last night, per a friend of mine who tried to go a little after 9.

 

The Draai Laag pairing dinner last evening was cool, & it was a surprise to see Dennis, their somewhat reclusive founder, show up to present the beers, talk about the brewery, etc. The only exception to a pretty great dinner was when Dennis had to leave early, & their sales rep filled in. Holy moly! I'd never seen someone get booed before, & some of the guests even demanded a refund after that!

 

Why was he getting booed? I can imagine why, just looking for affirmation I suppose.

 

First tell me what you're imagining.

 

Can't do it man...too much pent up prejudice toward sales reps. I'd expose myself as being judgmental. Firmly biting my tongue...nice try though.

 

I'm just busting his balls because I'm pretty sure he'll see this. It was all good, he presented well.

 

In that case, I was kidding as well.
