will be in Pittsburgh tomorrow for a concert. Thinking of going to either brew gentlemen or dancing gnome before the show. Staying at the double tree and concert is at the Petersen. Any preference to either brewery? Does dancing gnome serve food and how bad it's traffic to get to either brewery around 5. Any other recommendations. Thanks
I'm not a novice "in Pittsburgh" driver, but I'm not so familiar with the little intricacies that I'd say I'm 100% comfortable, especially during construction season, so I'd suggest if you're in town early, to get there at 4 when they open. Dancing Gnome is doing a release tomorrow at 4. From what I've heard, it shouldn't be TOO crazy, but don't know if that'll add any traffic/time to your plans. Brew Gentlemen has Lou on tap, at least they did as of close Tuesday night. If I'm not mistaken, it's a once a year brew. It's fantastic! But, whichever you choose, you won't go wrong. (Neither serve food; both have food trucks. Hit up their sites or social media and I believe you can find out which exactly.) As far as directions, you'll have to count on people that live there/go there much more regularly than I. That said, I think you'll enjoy a visit to either. I hope you find that to be true.
