There is plenty of stuff released only on weekends that I can't always get to so I might be off on Thursday that worked out for a couple things I miss out on a lot to it goes both ways.

That Breakfast of Champions Peanut Butter was an amazing Firkin! This is great news, ABOVE and BEYOND what needs to be done, I think, but great news.

They could do an online sale like many breweries do.

Sorry, but I completely disagree with this. Nobody is entitled to any particular beers. Local breweries might attempt to make special releases more available to their local customers as a thanks for their patronage, but the idea that every special beer release needs to be specially tailored to every beer fan's schedule is asinine, and frankly impossible. Everybody has different work schedules and demands on their time. Breweries and bottle shops typically put limits on special releases so as many people as possible get to buy each .rar beer they put out, but they definitely don't have any obligation to schedule the release around your (or anyone else's) specific schedule.

no, not at this time. there has been a demand for it, but we're already at capacity with our current products, especially since we introduced the new variety packs. there could be a chance for it as a #hashtag product at some point, but at this time no plans to package it in bottles with any regularity.

i might have not made that entirely clear so let me nip this in the butt right now. more details will follow on PBBOC once PBBOC is ready to bottle. not brc release iv. sorry to disappoint, but we're still a ways off on that one.

we will absolutely continue to do releases this way. homestead has become a huge part of our brewery's business and the patrons who support us there deserve the opportunity to equal access to our products. in fact, more people opted for pickup in homestead over meadville.

I didn't say I was entitled to their beers, I said I don't deserve them any less because I work all day. I obviously understand that everyones work schedule is different and there's no way to tailor it to everyone, but that's why you allow for maximum flexibility. Having two locations and having sign ups when MOST people aren't working allows for that. Why would you not want to do it when the most people possible are free? That's just common sense.

They aren't open on Wednesdays and not until Thursday at 3....lol...but yeah it's tough for people to bounce from work, for sure though.

Yeah but with some OLD Favorites being released and what has been on @voodoobrewery 's instagram page....you can imagine who will come out of the wood work for the next releases. Those of us who took chances on these beers that weren't Stouts, showed true that we were willing to take a chance on Voodoo doing something different and support them regardless of it not being Black Magick, Big Black or Pappy whatever.

The implication that anyone even hinted around them being more "entitled" to a release than someone else is asinine. Moral of the story: Voodoo is awesome, Keep doing what you're doing and you will have a lot of my money.

This was my favorite part of the release. I got to relax at home, do a little bottle share with the guys, walk into Voodoo the next day, refreshed, relaxed and try things on tap. Not tired and drunk from sleeping outside over night drinking all night.

Yeah I thought they way they handled it last time was prefect. From their post above it sounds like they're going to keep it up so good for them.

What about the people who work nights and weekends? Should they be penalized?

This is just above and beyond! Kudos to Voodoo.

As far as Blackbeards Do we even know that the green apple flavor won't fade as the yeast does its job? That is if it still has viable yeast cells in the bottle?

Yeah weather was awful. I honestly think its great that they support both the local Meadville customers and the new Homestead customers. The regulars (or should I say homers) at Homestead are just as important as the regulars in Meadville, though we were regulars first lol.....!!

    Ohhhhh Like this x 1000

How many online releases are successful without web crashes???? 0-1?

    Like this x 1000 too!
