I liked that pours were 7.50. Bottles were $2 more

Beer wasn't the only thing sour at DL tonight.

@shuggy a lot of neckbeards were disappointed. I was very satisfied with the selections across the river

I talked to Steve a couple of weeks ago and he said a double IPA will be released in the next Few months and that it very well could be Unnatural Love. It is not guaranteed, but it seemed to be leaning that way.

It sucked. I paid 7.50 for a 6 ounce plastic cup pour when the bottles were 8.50.

I was trying to think of a way to say this exact thing after Tim's post...well done...and so true.

The only beer that I drank from Draai Laag was The Plague and it was alright. I'm not sure exactly what style of beer they were aiming for, but it kind of tasted like The Bruery's Tart of Darkness. It was very thin in both mouthfeel and appearance. I was served most a 6 ounce pour in a plastic cup and the beer was ice cold temperature wise, which wasn't the most ideal conditions.

That's hilarious. I didn't even see your post when I made my post, but you hit the nail on the head regarding what I thought about The Plague.

Tedwarhc said " You yinzers are crazy when the word sour is dropped."

It was the FREE pizza. It had nothing to do with beer.

It was poured way too cold. The dynamic of the beer started to show when it warmed up a bit, you could actually taste the berries. I am curious to see how it develops in the bottle, as so many of the beers I've had from them turn into much better beers when they have aged a year.

If anyone has an extra and wouldn't mind parting with it please do let me know.

I did pick up two new bottles of Geestlijike last night. Really enjoy that beer.

I got the very last allotment. That was about 640. I thought it wasn't supposed to be on sale until 7. So it sold out in about -20 minutes.
