Just to clarify how it is working at Atlas, especially with the two raffles......

    ----------------------------------

Due to the extreme limitations of these coveted beers, we offer four ways to aquire Bourbon County....

    1. Enter the raffle by purchasing Goose Island beer starting November 23rd. Raffle winners will have the right to purchase one bottle. The winners will be notified on Sat Nov 28.

    2. You attend a screening of Grit & Grain, The Story Of Bourbon County Beer. Tickets are $10 and includes a 5oz pour of 2014 Bourbon County Stout and a right to purchase 2015 Stout on draft. Two show times are 7:00pm & 9:00pm.

    Purchase Tickets - 7pm - http://bit.ly/BCBS_7pm
    Purchase Tickets - 9pm - http://bit.ly/BCBS_9pm

    3. You purchase a charity raffle ticket for a chance to win an extremely rare four pack of 2015 Bourbon County, one of each style, most likely the only 4 pack available in Western PA. Raffle tickets are $10 each. You may enter as often as you want. Proceeds of this raffle benefit Bike Pittsburgh!

    4. Bourbon County 2015 Stout will be on draft, 5oz pours. Film ticket holders first at 6:30pm. Open to anyone at 9:15pm until the keg kicks.

How do I get a raffle ticket for the right to purchase a bottle?

Bourbon County is a Goose Island beer and this event is to help promote Goose Island beers. Therefore for each purchase of Goose Island beer from Mon Nov 23 -> Friday Nov 27, you will receive a raffle ticket. 32oz growler fills receive two tickets and 64oz growler fills receive four. In addition, if you attend either screening of Grit & Grain, you will receive four raffle tickets. You enter the raffle tickets Chinese Auction style for the particular BC style you want.

Do you have to be present at any of these events to win the raffle? Or will we be notified and be able to pick them up at a later date?

@troygreer - this right here is the sort of conjecture that fuels the ideology of BCBS "events" in Pittsburgh.

I understand that the bottle format might make it a bit tougher this year...but this statement just makes me giggle.

Yeah it is starting to come together now. I took a quick glance and thought the event looked cool when I first saw it but the more I read about the details the less I was interested.

I am not "paying" $10 for the movie, I am paying $10 for a 5oz pour of last years BCBS (so don't try to make it about a movie that is free to everyone at their own homes). Well......that isn't as special, I got a bottle right here on my shelf. I'd be more interested in a 5oz pour of this years BCBS or even a 5oz pour of the Barley Wine (which they are putting on tap) since this is a 2015 BCBS event.

Hell, I'd happily pay $20 for a 5oz pour of last years, "the movie" and a 5oz pour of this years.

They announced on their FB that they ARE NOT getting 2015 Barleywine and ARE getting 2015 Stout.

Quick update. 2015 Barleywine on draft will not come to Pittsburgh. They are replacing our keg with 2015 Stout. We will have that keg available Friday, 27th with the same plan as before.

Oh it's been opened. It doesn't seem to be the most in your face hop. Good base but not as big and juicy as the Pacific Ring or Hy-er PA. Little bitterness, smooth and chuggable. Not my favorite, but not my least favorite.

    Steve's cider is awesome though.

Does Roundabout put any of their beer on tap anywhere?
