Had dinner at the new industry. Food was great. 60 beers on tap. Had alpine hoppy birthday and duet. Both were great. It's just a huge space in the old Don Pablos you'll never have a problem getting a table.

Yes. Very. I think at one point I heard them say that they were at capacity and had to turn people away. Things were a little crazy, but I think they did a good job for opening day

Yep, two years ago, but we were traveling this past Summer and my dad went solo. Saw Gus (& co.) at the Ross beer and soup thing last weekend--always a pleasure hanging out; good dude.

Bumped into @Beerman6686 for this first time (nice to meet you; cheers!); we were both (in separate instances) verbally accosted by an aggressive gentlemen defending the sanctity of a closed used car lot (of which he was not the proprietor), while trying to find a brand new brewery that hasn't yet convinced Google Maps it's a physical location. Came away thinking the gose and stout were my best in show; hoppy ales may have been more geared toward being inoffensive to casual beer drinkers.

Got there right after 400 and the main room was filled with the exception of a barstool or two. I didn't hang around but twenty minutes, because my wife and I were taking the kids to a movie, but the hallway and anteroom had filled up by the time I left. I'll check it out again when it's less crowded and avoid that car lot for sure.

Freal? I drove past around 10AM, joking to my wife that they had a big BCBS event there. With the limited foot traffic their beer section getss, could still be sitting on the shelves this morning.

Website doesn't really provide new location-specific deets; same food menu as Lawrenceville? Do they post draft list online somewhere (don't see on FB)?

Same menu as Lawrenceville. No taps online that I could find. The alpine stood out to me as I hadn't had it yet but lots of good choices. 5 nitro taps

There were bottles of '14 and '15 BCBS and BCBBW in the cooler at Caliente Lawrenceville as of yesterday around 3.

I think they were $20 for the 2015s and $15 for the 2014.

If I was unable to find any, I would probably buckle and buy at least 1 2015 regular. But then again, I hate money.

IMO thats not a terrible price given the location type and history.

So those of you who tried BCBS, what did you guys think?

I really enjoyed BCBS and the Barley Wine. The coffe was off and i got strong green pepper off of it. Regal Rye was a big let down for me. The finish destroyed the beer.

I went to the tasting thing at the upcoming War Streets Brewery in north side tonight. Got there late, but it was pretty packed still. Seemed pretty devoid of neckbeards though. First beer event I've been to in like a decade where i didn't recognize anyone. Beer's unadventurous, but the pale ale was the only one I didn't happily finish. And the space is cool. Rocking a converted 1/2 bba keg brew system, and 1.5 bba stainless conical fermenters. Not supposed to open til late March.
