There is really almost no history on Grisettes other than a tiny blurb in farmhouse ales that they were served to minors, relatively low abv and very similar to saison. Essentially southern Belgium's version of what saison was to northern Belgium. I tried researching into them more but there isn't much else to it other than coming across a few articles essentially saying what farmhouse ales did and adding that they weren't ever industrialized like saison ended up being.

Yeah I don't care one way or the other who owns the beer as long as it's good. That just bugs me though when people claim boycott but clamor on bcbs

Those shitty jugs of Turners iced tea

Just don't make it the spicy pickles. The only pickle I've ever thrown away in my whole life. Just awful.

Thanks for the heads up. Only had the "Pittsburgh Style" ones. Will avoid the spicy ones. Also, thank you for mentioning Unnatural Love. Drinking it now and it's as great as ever!

Not sure if serious, but if you're looking for a barrel room collection snifter, just ask the bartender. Should be like $6.

I thought saisons were essentially Wallonian/southern Belgian anyway (thus the French name). Are there many Flemish/northern Belgian saison producers?

    And I believe we've found a name for BG's next all-Citra creation.

I wasn't serious. I should have quoted my earlier post, but that's hard on mobile.

I'm sure they originally where but farmhouses expanded into other styles like grisette and biere de garde when the need dictated.
