(Putting this box together sounds like a great excuse to get together for a share, by the way.)

Northern and southern Wallonia is what I meant to type. Mining towns were in the south/west/bordering France where the Grisette was most popular. My main point on Grisette is no one truly knows exactly what one is or what separates them from saison since they stopped being produced in the 60's. Sure you could probably call every sub 5% saison with wheat a grisette and you wouldn't be wrong for it you could also just call it a saison though. I think going into sub categories like that just confuses the general consumer in Pittsburgh. It's hard enough to find decent saison here made locally and even harder to find anything imported other than DuPont. There isn't a big market for it here. There are still people who go to breweries and try to order Bud light or ask what is the closest thing you have to it.

Yeah but that's not popular by any means. Other major cities 1/5 bars will have a saison or multiple saisons on tap. Here it's almost non existent because the majority of people don't know of them/ don't care

@Evahflow flow I have a feeling that Inquisitive is gonna totally tickle your saison feathers...

@randylangford it was great meeting you at voodoo over the weekend. Super stoked you enjoyed tropics. Sorry I was Turnt and probably pretty obnoxious.

The mods should just follow me in my life and let me know when enough....is enough.

It was nice talking to you. You weren't obnoxious at all. If you'd told me that this Voodoo stuff sucked and that I should try some Blue Moon, then you would have been obnoxious.

    Cheers

They repeatedly told me no....they only have beers they make.....

    But I didn't see any FV's....??
