Having all three I would say CCB was the worst of the bunch, though haven't had the new version yet so?

I think both BG and Voodoo are equally delicious for what they are. You have to really love Cucumber to enjoy these beers! They are both tasty, but yet so different

CCB's was really bad last year. I think they tried to ramp up production to meet the demand from the year before. It ended up a shelf turd in Orlando because it wasn't good.

Thanks for checking out Hitchhiker. The Barbarian is a work in progress just like all the beer. Trying to dial in the right chloride to sulfate ratio to make the hops pop a bit more and just brewed a new batch and swapped out Apollo for 07270 and added some Zeus. Due to our size it's very difficult to get any popular American hop varieties so that is also being dialed in. I do agree Conan's trademark stone fruit esters are lost in a sea of dank hops so also figuring out the proper pitching rate. Next time you stop by shoot me a DM if you'd like, love to show you around.

The kolsch was ehh, Im not a fan of lemondrop hops so that could be why. The tangerine wheat IPA was ok. Tasted very much like bitter oranges. Not great but not bad either.

I didn't get any BBQ. But had one each of the new beers then switched to Humboldt. A good afternoon.

Also not a fan of Lemon Drop Hops. Sounds like it would be awesome but that hop really doesn't do much.

I agree. Voodoo and BG Cukes are both awesome. I think I like Garden Party a little more, there were chunks of cucumber in my 4-ish oz sample. I haven't tried CCBs since like 2012 or so but I cannot remember what I thought and probably would not have liked it back then.

Hey, guys. Steve from Spoonwood. I want to invite all of you beautiful people to visit on Thursday, July 23. We're tapping a small quantity of two Wigle barrel-aged versions of our strong ale "Taffy Gruffudd." We'll most likely tap our new imperial stout that night, as well, and there will be some live music. Should be a good time, and I'll be there myself, so please say hello. Open 4:00-10:00 that night.

The taffy gruffudd was my favorite of the beers i tried on my visit there a couple months ago. A barrel aged version sounds pretty good. I may try to make it out.

@Sixpoint do you know if 4 Beans is in Ohio? More specifically like Vintage Estates or Red Wine and Brew in the Mentor / Cleveland area?

    *crossing fingers for happy hour*
