Gratitude n00b here. Are there any specific vintages that I should try to pursue? either bottle or on tap. I know to avoid that burnt asshole flavored one from 2008. Helpabrotha out. I just wanna fit in.

Get a 2006 for onsite consumption and get a case of Flatitude. Best bang for the buck. Maybe a reg Grat from this year if you want.

I agree with this. I had a 2006 last year and was absolutely blown away. It was one of the richest, most complex beers I've ever had. It was really stunning. Nothing like the fresh stuff or even the 2011. Speaking of the 2011, if you have a kegerator, buy away on those $40 cases of Flatitude. Pour the bottles into a keg and force carb it up. After a couple of weeks, you have 5 year old Gratitude on draft in your house. I've gone through 4 cases over the last few years.

Anything before that 08 batch. Just a different beer after that point IMHO.

For those coming to Meadville for the release, though they are limited, I let whoever wants them have them (for trade, a rare one offish whalezbrah will do), here is the first of the cupcakes my wife is making for this release.

For the sake of likes and excitement, I will be posting one each day (I remember) for the next couple days.

First cupcake - a perennial favorite - Good Vibes Cupcake with Lavender Honey Buttercream

Just left sabatinis and I'd have to say I agree it's the best bottle shop I've ever been to in PA. Fair prices, probably 1500+ beers to pick from, great drafts, lots of lambics. I picked up a duchessic, hotd fred, and some new local gypsy Brewer that the sales guy talked up called sole artisan ales.

Why is it 2015 but coming out in 16?

According to my best friend, Scott Smith, it's because it was brewed in 2015. I guess everyone else in the industry does it wrong.
