Any event at Hough's where do you don't have to drink from their skanky lines is a truly special event.

Wyckyd, you'd better be careful with how far you crawl down this rabbit hole, bud. We all know what happened to Costner in JFK...

Drinking a PB BOC right now. A little sweetness would have done this beer well.

Hey all - this is extra short notice: having a bottle share at my place in Regent Square on Thursday night. Plan was to start around 7, but if you want to try to get some CBS at Mad Mex just show up later. I have tons of '13 KBS if you want it, so no need to pay for a pour at the bar of that. If interested let me know I'll add you to the conversation.

Yikes I thought anymore sweetness it would have been too much. There's a perfect touch of maple syrup that anymore it would distract, but then again I don't really have a sweet tooth and eat pretty healthy, so I tend to not like things sweeter than they should be.

Always interesting how different people pick up things differently. I didn't think it was sweet in the least bit. I got the peanut butter in the nose, but unfortunately for me it didn't follow through in the taste.

I found it to be quite bitter and not sweet at all. I am not generally a fan of sweets either but I thought the sharp bitterness could have been offset by a little more sweetness to balance it out.

I thought there was really good balance between the coffee and peanut butter flavors, which I think is tough to pull off. Those are both pretty distinct and bold flavors and for them to coexist as well as they do is great. The nose is definitely dominated by the peanut butter aroma. It seemed that each sip I took one had more coffee flavor, the next you could get more peanut butter. It was almost a constant back and forth. I did notice that as my glass warmed and as got towards the end the flavors kind of mashed up together. Saw some mention about the thin body, but I was ok with where it was at.

Does anyone know if Meadville is out of the "extra" 4 packs?

As @PSU_Mike I got a lot more coffee than peanut butter. It happens, though. We're all different.

Not surprised about the thin body since BOC is a thin beer. At 5% and some change i think its perfect. Can't wait to try the PB BOC
