Pittsburgh - New Beers & Local Breweries

Think it's a fine idea, and noted the June date was good for me--but haven't heard of recent follow up.

 

I wonder what the rationale is here? Whole Foods Wexford is on beer menus and regularly updates their taplist so it seems like it isn't an issue with the grocery store/liquor license combination.

 

They made it clear it wasn't illegal, just against their policy. Can't imagine the rationale.

 

Giant eagle shady side tweeted 120 minute is in, anybody know if other giant eagles get it also? I'm close to ohio and cranberry and wexford are much less of a haul if anyone thinks I'll be able to get some there to try?

 

The cranberry ge gets it. Not sure if they will again this year or when or anything but they got it last year...and it's always kept in the back so you have to ask...look for someone in the know...not those ladies behind the counter. You could probably call and ask too.

Was their a specific date lined up. I'd be interested if I could work it into my schedule

@barflybastard may have a better idea. I know it was a weekend though. I remeber April 2 being the date I couldn't do. I forget.

Searching the thread, looks like the proposed date for Spoonwood bottle share was Saturday, June 4th around 11:30AM. But that was back on March 4th, which was their last post (and the last time the profile registers activity). Maybe there wasn't enough interest, but would probably need them to reconfirm this still is of interest to them, before anyone shows up with bottles.

 

June 5 at @barflybastard 's house works well for me. Great idea guys.

 

Any word on the BA Gratitude release?

 

I could do Sweet pwuy sat day 6/4 instead. Either work as of now.
