Just opened a Blackbeard's Breakfast. Tastes pretty spot on and non-metallic to me. Bad bottles?

 

Yeah the bottle that I opened recently was good. Ages with grace

 

I've got Red and Blue Briar at home, maybe it's time to crack those open. I drank my bottle of Black not long after I picked it up and I was a little underwhelmed. I enjoyed it, but Red on draft blew it out of the water.

FWIW I bought them on the first round of bottle sales.

 

I've only had Red on draft, but I thought it was great. On par with some of the legit Belgian framboise that I've had.

So to offer further clarification on this (that I just learned myself) - there is a strip mall being constructed at McCandless Crossing, part of which is slated to house the future location. Still, from my understanding, the new location has been put on the backburner with no definite opening projected at this point.

 

Yeah there's a buttload of new construction at McCandless Crossing. They're trying to see if they can just choke off McKnight Road with so much traffic that fucking no one goes over there anymore.

Which is why they should go just a wee bit more north to Cranberry.
