It's more of a PA beer than Fat Head's is. At least it's brewed in PA. Fat Head's is HQ'd and brewed in North Olmstead. It's an OH beer anyway you slice it.

First brewed in the 'Burgh with a large chunk still coming from PA, & I still don't put it in the "PA" column (in my own head). I don't think a drop of Fathead's beer has been produced in PA, despite its roots.

Fathead's would have never come to fruition if it weren't for a meeting between Glenn and Matt Cole, it's very much birthed in Pittsburgh. They are planning on becoming a PNW, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh entity. Born in the Southside, not brewed in Pittsburgh but about 1.5 to 2 hrs north of the city. Fathead's comes to me fresher in Ohio, but it's on tap to me in the Burgh!!! The best of both worlds, and I've never seen cans of Trail Head in Pittsburgh distributors just at Fathead's.

Did cans of Trail Head ever make distro? I've been looking for it at my usual spots but haven't seen it.

I don't think so in Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure about Ohio.

Ohio got it. I saw them at vintage estates over the weekend.

I figured that was the standard. For this amount of people it gets tough to share a 12 oz/375 ml bottle.

Did anyone want to do the 12oz raffle?

Last time everyone brought an extra 12oz-er and we put them in a basket (and it was a beautiful basket). We had enough beers that we were able to split the booty between 2 people. Simple enough - put names in a hat, pull a name, you win.

    Thoughts?

    I actually don't have a bottle, haha.

Judging by what it's going for right now, I would have to do put something like

FT: Entire Cellar ISO: opportunity to smell open bottle of KBBS

I'm up for anything. This is my first bottle share so I'll cater to the crowd.

It's looking like I'll have a decent haul to bring. When I have bottles in hand, I'll ask for opinions on what to bring. The KR Citra fell through but it's looking like I'll have a Parabola, Sucaba, Saint Elsewhere Saison, and a Simtra to bring. I am leaning toward the Saint Elsewhere Saison (not such which) and the Parabola. I'd like to split the Sucaba with my father and brother-in-law and I doubt I'll have the self-control to sit on the Simtra for that long.

I'm not a big stout fan so that is leading the pack. I know that is a popular beer.

A stout and a sour was my plan
