Saw that the beer list finally got released. Who's all going and what's everyone looking forward to trying? My top are:

    Goose BCBS
    Alpine Hoppy Bday
    Dogfish Romantic Chemistry
    Dogfish 120 minute
    Founders KBS

Headed there myself. Unsurprisingly, all the good gets are early admission/connoisseur--my wife gifted tickets to my dad and I for Christmas, and can't recall any qualifier on them. Looks like some locals that aren't often available will be nice to drink on, but there are several misspellings on the list and they identify Weyerbacher as the brewery associated with Big Black Voodoo Daddy; hope this isn't some portentous foreshadowing to a shit show.

Shouldn't be a shit show. I went to the summer one at Stage AE and was pretty happy with it.

I went last year and thought it was terrible. Everything good was gone before it started. By halfway through only beer available was stuff you could find on a shelf at any average bar. Not going back.

I feel that for a lot of BAs that only the conniessour ticket will satisfy.

We went to the winter beerfest last year and it was real disappointing. Some brewers didn't even show (Ballast Point). The Connesieur section ran out of food and rare beer within an hour. I got the sense the guys who run this just don't get it or care about the PGH event. If you look you see they run these fests in a bunch of different cities.

Nothing like Big Pour (which I think sets the bar for great fest in PGH).
