I think it's smart, but I also go there way too much, so....

As for the mobile line, it comes in that box truck, right? Long shot, but that truck could potentially break down or something, causing a delay/cancellation. That's the angle I taking as far as that hypothesis. And yes, I gave a hard knock on a wooden piece of furniture for good measure while typing that.

Yeah, they should totally put in a permanent canning line. Is there any space left on the roof?

I understood that and obviously that could happen. However, having helped with about 90% of the canning runs thus far I can assure you the weather is a much bigger fear. As far as getting their own line goes, that would have to be offsite if it were to happen.

Yeah, space is definitely at a premium back there. Good insight. Thanks.

Man...didn't mean to create a mild stir about the can release announcement. I just thought maybe I missed something since someone seemed to know what cans were coming and I hadn't seen it on their Instagram.

I have to admit I'm actually a little shocked to hear Al doesn't have his own canning line.

There is literally no place to put one. You've been there, right?

Oh I've been there...just don't really pay attention to the behind the scenes stuff. I just drink the beer. For all I know he has a printing press back there.

I'm quite happy with the can releases thus far. I really really hope it never turns into a line (heaven forbid a chair line) release.

Not sure what the mentality is behind the brief heads up regarding canning, but I doubt it's a concern that they later have to cancel. Plenty of breweries use mobile canning lines (see: The Veil) and haven't -as far as I know- had any issues with having to cancel due to weather or breakdowns.

This isn't to say it definitely isn't a concern; I'm just assuming it wouldn't color their thinking when it doesn't appear to be an issue for anyone else.

Anyone know if they have any Hopvision cans left, and if so how much? Really wish they would post a stock somewhere regularly.

I'll be checking out pizza boy on Friday for the first time on my way to the beach. Is there a typical day for new cans to drop?

Citra Lupulin Powder: 15ish cases out.
    Mosaic: At least double that.

Was just there, they were unloading a pallet of each Hop Vision up front so there a plenty of cases out now. Also saw some Magic Under Where, Reg SSU, and Mint/Choco SSU.

Have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the one Magic...Under Where? can that I had from this batch. I'm trying to get out of here without cans... the visit to Kane this weekend did me in.

Grabbed a six pack of Hopvision - Mosaic last week. Really, really enjoying it. Threw a couple cans in a trade for Mexican Cake.

Loved it on tap. Broke down today and snagged a six pack. Guess I'll have to "check in" on it now.... I'll blame you guys and gals. Thanks.

    No, really. Thanks.

Had an awesome first time experience at pizza boy tonight. Went through as many of their beers as possible given my time table and since they don't do flights. Palate mallet and demon drank were the stand out IPAs, and mint sunny side up was good too. I think the only non pizza boy draft I got was the sole super silk and it was the most underwhelming of the night. Good people and good beer. Didn't realize they don't tip on credit, hopefully the bar keeps enjoy the hoof Hearted musks and platform goses (liquid tips)!
