    Deets?

I was considering going there tomorrow in the hopes that SSU and chocolate mint variant are still available

Or perhaps I should hold out until next weekend?

    ^yep

Looked like they were canning today and I assume that's where they came from

Additionally, still had each that JNForsyth mentioned last week

I don't think there were any case stacks of mint chocolate SSU...I grabbed mine out of the cooler

Did they have a decent amount of the two HopVisions from what you saw on the floor?

    Yea

Didn't take a mental inventory on them but they were both case stacked on the floor

Good. I've been out of the area and am coming home tomorrow. I wanted to pick these up when I got home.

Just now getting to the cans I picked up and realized the citra and mosaic hop visions were only 5.3%. These are some of the best low abv beers I've had.

Any must-try beers if I drop in tomorrow for just one?

Personally I'd probably go with a pour of the Mint/Choco Sunny Side Up if I had to pick. Haven't had it yet and I love the base SSU. Moved further away from Al's a few months back so I don't get there very often anymore, some of the IPA's they have on now sound good.

On a side note, were you in the first round of the NBS BIF? The name sounds familiar.

    Thanks for the advice.

Yes, I participated in a couple of BIFs before I went in to full vagabond mode.

Ratings/reviews don't appear so stellar for Mint Chocolate SSU and I felt that way when I popped my first can. But, after the 4th can, I think its far better than my initial reflection. Warmed up a bit all of the flavors smoothed out and complemented each other well.

Rye Me A River and any of the HopVisions. I bought a sixer of the Mint SSU and about 4 of them were drain poured. The mint is very dominant to the point of being herbal. So if you love mint it may be your thing.

I am with you on Mint SSU. I took a sip and pushed the glass away and asked for another beer.

It was like drinking a smashed menthol cigarette, or Jagermeister but less appealing.

The Hop Vision Citra Lupulin was nice.

Looks like Haters' Tears - Rye Me A River and Flying Laser Beams are out in cans. Both $15/6 and $50/case.

Anyone had the most recent batch of Murren?

Had a can a week or so ago. I liked it just fine, but couldn't justify a purchase based on all the other hoppy cans filling the fridge. Next week? Likely a different story/outcome...

Armor Shark can release Sunday AM, for the start of Shark Week.

Not this Sunday, next Sunday the 23rd. Would be pretty hard to release a can that isn't even canned yet lol

By the time you can it, isn't it already too old? Isn't that how this works?
