I haven't noticed any sour flavors in the cans I have. If anything, I find the chocolate and coffee flavors of this batch to be more pronounced.

 

Thank you. I am thinking my taste is off. I have been having trouble liking different styles lately, which I normally enjoy.

 

I had a similar issue even after I got over a cold. Your nose has a lot more to do with taste than most people think. You may not be sick, but I'm throwing it out there because even after I felt much better after a cold, my sinuses were still a bit clogged and all beer, including my favorite, still didn't taste right.

So, what they canning tomorrow?

I may go down there since I’m off work and they still have the SSU variants available but I’ll have two little ones

Thought Hazleton Native would outlast them but I guess it’s the price point

I’d consider getting some if I still didn’t have a couple of cans from two different previous runs, neither of which were from the last run

That moment when Blueberry Permasmile drops on a Wednesday...

 

Anyone been there in the last few days and can report on available cans? Instagram hasn't been updated in a bit.

 

Friday afternoon it looked like just SSU and the two variants of it, along with Brewery Pilsner. Also, unless they had more in the back to put out, it didn't look like more than a case or two of Permasmile bottles left.

 

Can’t wait for those Turkey Burglar cans in a few weeks. I remember loving that beer like something fierce.

 

Pizza Boy has lost so much business from me due to their lack of updates recently. Out of sight, out of mind...

 

Not entirely sure what that means, but the information I posted came from their instagram account.

Maybe unrelated, but figured I'd throw it out there.

 

Pretty sure they were closed for a while due to renovations.

I’m happy I forgot to look today.

 

I had 2 cans of SSU that were most definately bad. Both were sour, lacking in any sweetness, and a bit thin. First was mint SSU I drank on Jan 2nd. Second was cacao ssu canning date 12/18/2017. The worst part is I have another can of each of them.

I have had plenty of good SSU so this is a dissapointment.

 

Any idea of new cans? Haven't seen much on social media.

 

Keystoner and Turkey Burglar were the most recent ones, I believe.
