I was just being funny. Oddly enough, I haven't tried any of their stuff. They were supposed to be at York Hibrewnation, but didn't come. Apparently their Cosmic Nod is really good.

I really enjoy it. I prefer it from the keg as opposed to their cans. Their BA Virgil is killer and one of my favorites as well. I look forward to seeing them grow... even if they are 2hrs away.

My wallet hopes the Arck Angel Blueberry cans comment is sarcasm.

As for South County, they're doing some really nice stuff. Cosmic Nod, Liminal Moment, Dark Thread, Virgil... all good to great beers. Didn't love the Intervals - Simcoe but it wasn't awful. I'd love to try that DIPA, though. Sounds great.

South County and Collusion are the two top dogs in the York area right now. They are the only breweries in the area that seem to "get" the current trend of the NE style IPA. South County even just tweaked their session IPA (Day Rider) to be more of a NE style.

Forgot to mention Day Rider... that was tasty. Do you know when they changed it? Had it about two months ago... wouldn't say NE style, but it was pretty tasty...

Haha, chocolate sour was downright awful. Didn't Al make a comment about how he should have dumped it instead of selling it?

Boobery was phenomenal. It had the look of Ecto Cooler, so green and tasted like the milk at the end of a bowl of cereal. That would be a great one for them to remake, though I doubt it should go into cans.

I would say it was right around 2 months ago. If you had it in a can, it was most likely the new one. If it was a bottle, it was most likely very old. The new one is cloudy, the old one was not.

I think the Chocolate Sour review from Al was something along the lines of "This made me want to vomit... on tap this afternoon!"

I did order it. I didn't vomit. I almost understood it.

Thanks on the Day Rider info... could be time to grab a can and revisit...

A little bit of thread drift, but South County is doing absolutely amazing things. I think they've basically reworked all the recipes in the hop forward direction. Haven't seen beers like their Amber, ESB or black IPA for a while. The last 2 or 3 canning runs of Liminal Moment are Trillium level good. Cosmic Nod is a Galaxy single hop and an absolute crusher at only 5%.

Very excited to have great local options. Honestly, my desire to make trips up to Mass and VT have diminished significantly over the last year...

I missed BA SSU, but this will be a great consolation!

Based on how much was still there Wednesday night, I'm sure they still have the regular BBA available.

I hope not. I'm trying to score one or two of these after work today.
