This is great news. Now if they would only start building PP locations in LA county. We have beaches too!

Filtering the IPA's wouldn't hurt either.

Can't wait for them to open up the new location considering how close to work it is for me.

Pizza Port should've opened up in the space next to Beachwood. That would've made me explode

Port and Pizza port have nothing to do with each other anymore except for the owners (Vince and Gina). There is no production facility for Pizza Port beers...that's what is being built right now.

BeerAdvocate has their relationship screwed up in the Breweries/Beers description - they shouldn't be listed together. I have already submitted a request to have this changed, but apparently it's not high on the list of important things to do for the Bros. They'd rather police the forums than fix the site.

Hope they can Mongo or Wipeout, as those are Port Brewing staples.

That would be fine, but it will have to be after Lost Abbey does 750ml bottles of Dusk Till Dawn.

Pizza Port is building the canning line and canning Swami IPA.
Port Brewing brews Mongo/Wipeout, it is a separate company and has no canning line.

Now I'm totally screwed up. I thought the new facility was to expand the Port Brewing capacity, distribute all the restaurant supplies, as well as house a Pizza Port brewpub. I even went to an event at the new site. My bad.

If they can Mongo I hope they use clear cans so you can see how many inches of sediment there is before buying.

Mongo is made by Port Brewing, not Pizza Port. I'm sure they won't be canning/bottling any of Port's products. They have the same owners, but are separate companies/breweries.
