Places in Asheville, NC

    To buy beer, brewpubs or beer stores. A friend of mine is visiting and was curious what the best places were.

    I'm a fan first of Green Man and Wedge. Wicked Weed puts out some really good beer, but has a more...polished vibe. Wedge has food trucks every night. There are some good bars as well, of course.

    It'd be wise to hit both of the better beer stores, Bruisin' Ales and Appalachian Vintner, as selections can vary.

    There are a billion threads on this, so a quick forums search should yield you all the info you ever could want! I'm a big fan of Pisgah Vortex II if your friend can find any.
