Going to have the family down there in a few weeks. Wondering where's a good place to go to either eat with the family that's not Disney that offers up a good selection or any good bottle stores near by? Not going to have a ton of free time so it would have to be pretty close. Thanks!!
Sounds like Knightly's and Whole Foods are the only options. I'll be down there in less than 4-wks as well.

As far as restaurants, Disney has done a pretty bang-up job ensuring that "nearby" is "Disney property". While your food options within most Disney parks are middling at best - with the exception of Epcot, which has several really standout sit-down options - the restaurants in the resorts and surrounding areas of Disney are generally pretty good. For example, Animal Kingdom's resorts have several that, despite being buffets, are pretty solid. There are some pretty upscale options too - one of our very best restaurants in the Orlando area, with a consistent James Beard nominee, is a (very spendy) Disney resto. There's the usual parade of celebrity chef names as well - Todd English, Wolfgang Puck, etc etc. Disney is making an effort to offer better (read: non-Bud) beer options at a number of them. As far as what's good within close range of Disney, well, like I said. Disney has done pretty well to ensure that the only thing within close range of Disney, is Disney. And most of the restaurants that are nearby but not ON Disney property aren't anything to write home about.
In Downtown Disney, there is a faux Irish pub called Raglan Road that has a decent tap selection. Then there is a brewpub on Disney Boardwalk - cannot think of the name, though. Beer was meh...
