Got a couple days of work in LA, and will be staying by the airport. I see El Segundo Brewing and Flights Beer Bar are in the area. Any other places worth checking out that are about the same distance?
Decent beer bar, as far as hotels go, Brewsters, is at Four pints Sheraton right by LAX. I'm a fan of Naja's place in redondo beach, but that's definitely farther away than El segundo brewing. Not my cup of tea, but Rock n Brews is across the street from ESBC.
Richmonds Bar & Grill around the corner from Rock-n-Brews and ESBC. Good food and beer. Three Weavers off Manchester Blvd. Whole Foods down Sepulveda Blvd. Z Pizza on Century near the Hotels.
Monkish and Smog City are only a few miles down the 405, so I would strongly suggest going to those. Flights has a decent selection, but their food has really gone down hill in my opinion.
