has anyone been there, had any of their beer or any info at all?

My wife wants to take a drive to the area and was looking to see if anyone had any insight. I got some basic info on their website but I figured I'd ask.

    cavedave has the right idea

Nonetheless, and in more recent news, I was at the release this past Sunday for KärnL & Dandeliaison. Not too overcrowded, and Evan was there elaborating on the new land he just acquired...the possibilities of a tasting room and more great beer to come were certainly entertaining to the crowd

Evan is a cool dude, and if you're in the area for a bit then I would also check out some drinking holes: Draught Industries & The Dutchess Biercafe

Only at Farmers Markets. Check their Facebook for updates. They seem to sell out fast.

I've had a few Plan Bee offerings. I wasn't too crazy about Bartlett, but I really liked Ellie Ann. The brewer/owner, Evan Watson, is a super nice guy and I think he'll be turning out some incredible beers over the next few years.

The Hive membership they offered has been fantastic. I really enjoyed Tree Beer, and alot of their offerings I've had.

This. Things like camping there, and the ideas they have for the new brewery are fantastic. Just needs to all culminate into actuality. I can't wait.

Really, all of their beers are decent to fantastic. Definitely check them out if you have a chance to get up to the market sometime!

He has releases both at his farmstand, which is at the brewery/his house, as well as releases at the Beacon Farmer's Market.

What time do you need to arrive, generally for the farmstand releases? Is it a mob scene or do bottles last all day?

Depends on the release. If it's for a sour type release, I'd get there 1.5-2 hours before opening. There aren't many bottles per release, and the demand is pretty high, so I'd get there pretty early just to be sure.

last week, for karnl, the cherry sour, i got there at 9:30 for the 10am release. i was 27th. but by the time they started, there really wasn't that many people there so they didn't even bother with the #'s after the first 10 people. the line was done by 10:30 and there were still bottles available.

sometimes they sell out super fast and sometimes not. karnl is a very nice beer and they are releasing more tomorrow. not sure how much they have left though

Pretty sure he stopped his releases at his house, especially since he is opening his farm in the future. Beacon Farmer's Market is the only game in town.

Bummed I can't make Sour'd, but Evan & Coppersea can do me no wrong here: umami, soy sauce, shiitake + barrel filled with sour beer = sour teriyaki and rye whiskey
