I just paid for my membership today. We get to pick and choose our bottles, right?

Got an email about the first NYC pickup, but there still isn't any news about the bottle shop being open, right?

also, I was confused about this:
the signup form had something about designating a proxy for picking up your bottles. Does this mean you can just coordinate with another member to pick up some bottles for you for a one-time thing?

Yes, but they need to be named proxy on your account.

So is there a Hive membership portal? I got the confirmation that they accepted my application, the CC info form, and they charged my card but I've heard no actual info about the club now that I'm an official paying member. It very well could be that I'm missing something

I think what he meant is that you get the bottles that are released. You can't choose to take some but not others

Bingo. Assuming he's Hive and not Swarm.

Maybe I've overlooked it, but I don't recall seeing much info about the webshop bottle sales process. If bottles are being dropped off on the 27th, will the online sale go up a week before?

I was wondering the same thing. The way it was described in the emails, Hive gets 6 (or 12) pre-allotted bottles per month with the right to buy more if any are available. Then whatever the Hive doesn't buy goes to the Swarm for purchase. That's how I read it at least. Maybe I read it wrong?

From one if the last emails sent for Swarm looks like we will have two avail, the collab with Newburgh which is a 2 bottle set and Quince. If I remember correctly from someone posting the Hive email they are also getting Quice but not the collab in their set package. So they may have the option to buy more but I'm not 100% sure on that. Hopefully the shop goes up soon.

Does anyone know if this month's Quince bottle is the same as the Quince collab 'Quincedence' being tapped at Brewery at Bacchus' anniversary event tomorrow?

Emily had posted this in her email back on January 27th:

We are excited to say we have 3 styles of beer that will be ready by the end of February for pick up which include a quince sour ale, nectarine sour ale, and a tart blended sour ale and cider (with wild apples from our farm)

Just over a week away from delivery. Hopefully we'll receive an update shortly about the online sales date/process.

The lack of communication is pretty frustrating

I got an email Sunday night at 10:04
    Hello Swarm,

Thank you to everyone that has paid the $25 membership fee through the link! It has been a busy week here at the farm, the cold weather has been giving us some trouble with keep the barn warm. It has delayed our ability to prepare bottles for the online store but we will have something up there soon.

I wanted to answer some of the questions I have been receiving:
I had set a deadline of Feb. 22nd for the membership fee to be paid and I am thinking that week the store will go live.
I will email everyone the day before the bottles go live and give you a specific time for the opening. This first month, bottles will be a bit short as we are turning things around here but there will be more in the coming weeks.
A reminder, the Swarm and the Hive both have access to bottles in the online store.
Also, bottles do NOT have to be picked up once a month. There is no minimum pick up required so don't worry if you can't pick up bottles right away.
You do not have to pick up in NYC, you can always come to the farm in Poughkeepsie if that is easier for you. When you purchase bottles, if you would like to come to the farm to pick up just email me and we will set up an appointment. We are flexible to accommodate any schedule - day or evening, weekday or weekend.
If you still need to pay your $25 membership fee, here is the link: http://mkt.com/plan-bee-farm-brewery/membership-fee

I will be writing as soon as I have bottles ready for you!
    Have a wonderful Valentines

So looks like the shop will go live next week and we will have a heads up as to on sale times. Looking forward to hopefully grabbing bottles and getting to meet some new people.

It's nice to hear that you can have them hold on to bottles, even if you're doing the NYC pickup option, and have them bring them down for a later month's pick up. (Assuming I'm reading that correctly.) I'm gonna be out of town on the 27th and thought it meant I'd be SOL for one month already...

It sounds like kind of a logistical nightmare for them to keep track of all these bottles, though.

Looks like I missed the signup period, but left them my email. Anyone had any luck getting in under similar circumstances?
