I just had a general question on a keezer i'm planning on making. I need help in figuring out what I can put in it. It's a 7 cu/ft freezer. The dimensions are (not including the area above the bump out): 15" x 24" with a depth of 27 3/4". This keezer will be strictly for home brewed beer, so i'll be filling it with corny kegs. My question is does anyone know the maximum amount of kegs I could fit in there? I'm planning on buying a 2 keg system initially. But if I have room for more than the initial 2, I will go ahead make it set up for additional kegs during the initial build.
http://www.micromatic.com/beer-questions/sizes-keg-draft-beer-available-aid-11.html Do you already have the freezer? You could make some cardboard templates based on the dimensions in the link above and figure out what you can do. 15" X 24" and you're probably looking at 2 cornies max. It may be possible to stagger them and squeeze in a third....
It looks like I will only be able to fit 3 in there. My other question involves regulators. I'm planning on getting this, or something similar: http://www.midwestsupplies.com/dual-double-cornelius-keg-system.html Would that double regulator be suitable for 3 kegs? 2 kegs could be at one CO level and the 1 at another.
Yes, you would just need to add a distributor or a simple splitter to split the output of one of the regulators to the two kegs that will be at the same pressure.
