I need some crates to safely transport some beer. Westvleteren 12 among them. So that is the general size I am looking for; the taller 33cl bottles. I need about 7 crates.

I am also interested in looking for some 750cl bottle crates. I think I have enough for my beer collection, but it would be great to protect our wine as well. I have about 40-50 bottles.

I'd love for them to be Belgian brewers and condition doesn't really matter as long as they still do their intended job. Any ideas? Would be driving up from Germany, but likely to the Kortrijk area and of course, willing to pay fair price for them.

    Thank you!

I just go to my local Delhaize/Colruyt/Carrefour and nicely ask the beverages guy to get me some empty beer crates from the storage.

Exactly! And in Belgium they have a bit higher deposit than in Germany, but it works in Belgium like in Germany. Go in a larger Supermarket / bottle shop, find some crates and take them to the cashier.

Do check good bottle fit -- sizes vary, with some made for the fatter bottles, and some with more headroom than others. Check with a Westmalle or a St. Bernardus bottle.

Thanks guys!! I have sources all I needed for crates! Even for my .75l Bottle and even my small wine collection! I narrowed my search down to crates that do not allow the bottles to make contact with themselves.
